Thai racing driver Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik will return to race on home soil in the rapidly growing Thailand Super Series 2019. Sandy will join the successful B-Quik Racing Team for their assault on the GT3 title, where he will pilot an Audi R8 LMS Ultra.
B-Quik Racing Team had a good 2018 season in the Thailand Super Series, claiming podiums and several points finishes that prove the capability of this team’s management and maintenance of the cars. B-Quik Racing Team will also receive technical support from Absolute Racing, a very respected and successful team in Asia.
“I’m excited and hugely looking forward to racing in the TSS with B-Quik Racing this year. This will be the first time in many years that I’ll return to a Thai series, so I’m eager to get started, and to be closer to all the Thai fans. It will be a pleasure to race at Bangsaen in a car, and I’m sure that it will be one of the many highlights of this season. Thank you to all my sponsors and to B-Quik Racing for this opportunity.” Explains Sandy.
Henk Kiks ,CEO of B-Quik Co.,Ltd said “I’m very pleased that Sandy Stuvik will join the team this year in our Audi in Super Car . We have known him for a long time and seen his career blossom as one of the top Thai drivers racing internationally. Aside from his single seater successes he brings two years of top-level sports car experience with him and I’m confident that he will step straight into the cockpit and be fast from the off. He’s got pace, commitment, a ‘never give up whatever the race throws at him’ attitude, a real hunger to win and of course a lot of name recognition with Thai fans so I think it’s a real win-win for everyone.”
Sandy had a challenging last season in the Porsche 911 R, but did manage to secure an overall 2nd place at the legendary Suzuka Circuit in June. The Thai racer now has set his sights on the GT3 Champion’s Trophy, which will race in Sepang, Buriram, and the iconic Bangsaen Street Circuit.
Sandy Stuvik is honored to be supported by The Pizza Company, Thai Airways, Puma Thailand, Thaiwings Travel Agency, Dacon Trading, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Sports Authority of Thailand, and the Royal Automobile Association of Thailand.
